I have been working at True Servant Preschool Academy for four years. I do not take it lightly of providing excellence learning experience for our community. It is an honor to be able to be a part of their learning journey. It is my responsibility to make sure that my staff is equipped to be able to provide the best learning experience possible by providing personal development and learning materials to be able to effectively communicate to our children. I began my tenure in the mid 1990’s. I was honored to be ask to be the first preschool teacher. I received my teacher certification in 2001. I also taught a music course of study for the preschool.
My experiences at TSPA has been an ongoing and fascinating time. Working with young children has been a most rewarding journey.

Dionna Matthews

I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful young children. I received my bachelors degree in psychology from William Paterson University. Shortly after graduating, I returned to school to get my P3 certification for teaching from The College of New Jersey. I have been teaching at True Servant Preschool Academy since 2014. I have a true passion for working with young learners. Helping each child progress in all areas of development—academic, social, language, motor— is a challenge I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a fun, safe, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and develop!

Family Worker
I have been a Family Worker for five years. My role as the Family Worker is to offer practical help and emotional support by equipping parents and families with the skills needed to thrive. I do this by providing teaching mechanisms for coping with stress, aid in developing communication strategies, educate families about physical and emotional self-care, and connect families with local resources.

I’m so glad to be joining the True Servant Family. I’m new to Trenton but not to teaching. A little about myself I graduated from Ocean County College with an Associate’s of Arts degree. I have several years of experience working within the classroom with ages 2-21. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in BA Human Services w/conc in Child and Family Services. My years of experience coupled with my continued learning makes me an multi talented teacher. With an increased skill set to bring to every young mind. I am dedicated to the growth, and expansion of every student within my reach. I’m excited to be apart of a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
